Welcome to CoachDegen! I am Jeremias Degen—a Swiss competitive floorball coach, podcaster, and developer of coaching solutions. My goal is to help coaches and athletes reach their full potential through structured analysis, evidence-based knowledge, and practical tools.

My Journey in Floorball

Floorball has been a part of my life for over two decades. After my time as an active player—competing in the youth system of the Swiss record champion SV Wiler-Ersigen and at the 1st League level with SV Waldenburg Eagles and Unihockey Fricktal—I quickly discovered my true calling: coaching.

I have been behind the bench continuously since 2014. What began in grassroots youth sports soon led me into competitive performance coaching. Starting in 2018, I spent several years with Unihockey Basel Regio (UBR), where I gained valuable experience in talent development as the head coach for the U16A, U18B and U21A teams. Most recently, I contributed my expertise as a statistician, analyst, and assistant coach in Switzerland’s highest league (L-UPL).

To broaden my perspective and learn from the best, I also interned with the Swedish top-tier team IBK Dalen in 2022. These international insights flow into my work every single day.

Great coaching is no accident; it is the result of hard work, continuous education, and the right tools. With CoachDegen, I combine my practical experience on the sidelines with tailor-made coaching services and software solutions designed to make a coach's daily routine more efficient and professional.

I am a firm believer in the open exchange of ideas between coaches. This is why I co-founded the "Unihockeycoach.ch" podcast in 2020—the first and only podcast for floorball coaches in the German-speaking world.

• Swiss Olympic Performance Coach (Certified 2022)

• Performance Coach with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education (Certified 2022)

• Complete J&S Floorball Education

• Over 10 years of experience as a Head and Assistant Coach (Grassroots & Competitive)

• Former staff member in Switzerland’s highest league (L-UPL / NLA)
